So, here it is my first blog. After a quick lesson in what it is and how to make one I'm having a go.
Roger, my partner in life, has had the day off work and so I decided to join him in a day of painting, gardening and lazing in the sun. After a mornings digging Roger decided to get in the pool, but as it's not heated he opted for putting on his wetsuit first, and after 15 minutes of tugging and pulling I finally managed to zip the thing up. He happily climbed the steps and descended into the water but quickly found it was far too cold, even dressed as he was, and hurriedly got back out!
Recently I have been engrossed in photographing all my dolls house furniture and accessories for my web site - www.my-dolls-house.co.uk which Jim has been putting together for me, it now contains far more than originally planned and looks really great, if you read this thanks Jim!
Life in my own dolls house has not changed for a week now, grandma has been sitting in front of the fire knitting even though the kitchen is a mess and needs a good spring clean and items put in the new dresser that I bought for her. Upstairs the baby is laying motionless on the bed, not a good sign, and nanny really needs to keep a better eye on the children. A new thing lately has been the addition of electric light. When I brought the house it was already fitted but I didn't know how to connect the wires to the adaptor, anyway I went to the N.E.C. dolls house fair this year and found a stall holder who explained what I had to do and supplied my with the things I needed. The whole job took less than 10 minutes, the trouble is I've had the dolls house for 20 years! Still better late that never.
Well it's that time of day now when I sit in front of the idiot lantern with a glass of wine till bed time so it's bye for now.
